The CALM Foundation was formed to support the continued growth and success of CALM Zoo through fundraising, community partnerships, capital improvements, and long-term conservation initiatives.
Supporting CALM Zoo
The CALM Foundation (Tax ID#77-0420446) is a nonprofit, tax-deductible organization that raises funds to support the California Living Museum, including new exhibits, facility improvements, educational experiences, and infrastructure enhancements throughout the zoo.
Community Support
The Foundation works alongside community partners, businesses, and supporters to help advance CALM Zoo’s mission and long-term sustainability.
HolidayLights
The CALM Foundation hosts the annual HolidayLights event, one of Kern County’s most recognized seasonal traditions and an important annual fundraiser for the zoo.
Conservation & Education
Funds raised through Foundation efforts help support conservation initiatives, education, animal care, and future exhibit development.
