Reservation Process for 2024-2025 Field Trips

We are making a few changes this year to help stream line the reservation process to help make your overall experience at CALM great and our Guest Services team are excited to be working with you this year! Field trips can be booked Tuesday – Friday for the 2024-2025 school year.

BEFORE YOU BOOK!

Before you start the process of booking a Field Trip at CALM, we kindly ask that you obtain proper approval from your administration and ensure that transportation is available on your requested dates. Reservations will be confirmed in the order they were received. Please allow 72 hours for a response.

Cancellation Process: Please notify CALM if you need to cancel your reservation. Groups may cancel up to 48 hours prior to event and receive a full refund. Cancellations not made prior to 48 hours before scheduled event, are non-refundable. If you have any questions, please email calmfieldtrips@kern.org. We understand that weather and life are unpredictable and we are happy to accommodate last minute changes as best we can based on availability.

Payment options: Purchase order (must have on file prior to your field trip and we will bill you after) or pay day of by cash, check, or credit card.

($5 per student)
($9 per chaperone, required 1 for every 10 students)
(REQUIRED 1 teacher for every 20 students will receive FREE admission)
(Gift store time slots will be provided the week before your date. Due to the size of our gift store AND California Coast Room, please limit 15 students with chaperones at a time.)
How many bags?
(NEW THIS YEAR: designated areas will be assigned the week before your date based on availability)
(NEW THIS YEAR: your designated window for train rides will be provided the week before your date. The train will NOT be running from November – December)
